February 14, 2011

Not much new since last week.  Just a few more of the plaid shirt blocks and lots of time to think about setting ideas.  But I believe I have a good excuse for not getting much done.  During our last snow storm on Tuesday I took a terrible tumble off a slick step.   After a few x-rays it was decided that nothing was actually broke.  Thank Goodness!  But, my right hand is still in a splint and the bruises just keep getting darker and darker.  Trust me - I would much rather be sewing.  Hopefully next week I will be able to get back at it.

Have a great week. And be sure to visit Patchwork Times to see all the Design Wall posts.

Sounds like it's time to put your feet up and grab a quilt magazine. Sewing can wait until your feeling better.

Sorry about your fall! What a bummer!

Take it easy and feel better soon.

Ouch! I really like your plaid churn dashes. I, too, love that pattern, and may have to make one for me someday! I did note that you keep your lines straight in the patches. I just can't cut them wonky, either.

I am so sorry about your fall. That ice is terrible. Maybe this is the time for planning future projects: you can be ready to hit the ground (pun intended) running when you are feeling up to it.

Love the plaid churn dashes, very cute.

Hope the arm heals soon. I'm glad it's warming up and the snow is melting. One less chance to put your foot wrong and and up in the emergency!
