Happy to be Scrappy

It has a face.

This morning I started with a pile of orange squares.  They measure 2 1/4" each.

After a trip to Overbrook and Baldwin City for our B.O.M. and then a much deserved nap, I now have a face.

Hopefully, you can see a cats face.  This is from a Quiltmaker magazine pattern.  The pattern is from the July/August '11 issue.  Those large polka dots seem to stand out like a sore thumb right now.  But they are going to stay.  That's just going to be part of this scrappy quilt.

Now I'm off of here to finish watching Hunt for Red October.  And to get started on the tail section.
