Here is my version of Bonnie Hunter's "Roll Roll Cotton Boll". However, I will need to name mine "One of These is Different" as one of my purple blocks was put together wrong and should be taken apart and redone but...... hopefully it will be the only one. I still have 16 of the purple blocks to do and the 1/2 blocks that go around the outside. I also decided to do mine in purple and yellow instead of pink and red. I think it is looking great. I am glad I decided to do it in this color scheme.
Here is a close up.
A huge thank you to Bonnie Hunter at Quiltville for the terrific pattern and fun mystery. And to Judy Laquidara at Patchwork Times for a great place to post the updates and pictures.
I love the yellow quilt Judy has planned to do. May have to follow her lead on that one. Check it out at Patchwork Times.

Very nice, purple has always been my favorite color.
Your RRCB is coming along nicely. I am still working on putting my block together. Hopefully today I will cut my string blocks.
Love your colours...the blocks look fabulous...way to go!
I like purple and yellow, it's such a happy combination. Great job on the quilt. You've made a lot of progress.
Your purple and yellow RRCB quilt is fabulous! I enjoye this mystery right to the very end; that what so much fun. I didn't make the quilt but sure loved the bloggers posting thier progress. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Wonderful quilt. Block wrong?? Who says it is wrong??? LOL
That quilt looks gorgeous. I've been puttering away at mine, but it's gotten put onto my UFO challenge list, so it will wait until then before I do more on it.
Gosh, your RRCB looks wonderful! I love the purple. I used pink, green & brown but haven't added any red yet....I was thinking about either a deep raspberry or yellow which might provide more contrast. I sure like that Bonnie cut the string blocks as it adds movement to the whole thing.
It is looking real good.
I really like your RRCB - it's gorgeous! I'm anxious to see the progress!
I really like your yellow. I haven't done that step yet and I am tempted to use yellow as well. It is so fun to see all the different color combinations. Way to go on getting it done so quickly.
I love how it is coming together.
Really pretty! I like the amount of contrast you have going on with your blocks. Amazing amount of work in this project!
That is very pretty. It looks like a WHOLE lot of work!!
